			A New Direction We have been working on a business plan and after looking at the economy, market, and location we have chosen not to rebuild Superior Balance as it was. I have really missed the daily interaction with all of you which has made this decision a difficult one.

We are currently cleaning up the Superior Balance site and are in
process for creating our new business plan. We will not have answers
about rebuilding until we finish that process and are able to
objectively look at the numbers and needs of the community. We are
trying hard not to make any decisions based on emotion. This has
been a very difficult deal for us and we were not ready to be back at
square one so quickly after starting our dream business.

If you have submitted for your refund but have not been paid please
contact me. All payments for all received documents have been done.

Jeff has been offered and accepted a position with Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and we will be moving mid-October. This is a wonderful, yet bittersweet move for our family.
I moved back to the area with the intention of making a difference in my hometown and I hope I have been able to do that these last five years. I see very promising things for Superior as we move into the future and I continue to be connected to the area through family and friends. I have lived away in the past and know that I return regularly and will continue to be involved in local happenings and issues even if removed in physical presence. I am planning to continue to write my weekly health and fitness column which will come out in the Friday print edition - so my smiling face won't be far.
I am very proud to have been a part of the progress Superior is undergoing and am excited to watch her continue to grow. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of this progress. I have truly been enriched by my experience at Superior Balance.

Due to the fire occurring on the 15th, which was a Saturday, the submissions were already done and the bank was not available to undo it before midnight on Monday.
